The Portland Rise & Recline Armchair features a Dual Motor mechanism allowing you to operate and move the leg rest and the backrest independently providing countless recline positions to help you find your perfect position, ideal for individuals who have difficulty standing up and sitting down due to restricted mobility e.g. those with MS, Arthritis, Rheumatism, circulation problems.
Comfort and support is provided by a three tier waterfall back design and the ergonomically contoured memory foam seat and back with padded upholstery. A safety key is built into the hand controller to prevent accidental movement and entrapment and the fail safe battery back-up system enables the chair to be raised and lowered in the event of a power failure providing peace of mind for the user.
The simple to use 4 button handset can be placed into either of the convenient side pockets of the Portland Rise and Recliner upholstered with soft touch Sofia fabric for added style and comfort.
